A little about me

Hi There!!

My name is Annie Fitzgerald, and my pronouns are she/her. I’m a member of the LGBTQ community and I have multiple disabilities. I have a passion for leftist policies and volunteering in my community.

I grew up in the nearby town of Snohomish and I was born with multiple disabilities that have helped shape who I am today. A strong but compassionate woman who cares about others and strives to serve the community through activism and volunteer work. I have had a lot of personal struggles over the years with healthcare issues but I have made it through due to determination and internal strength.

I have a criminal justice educational background and I worked as a private investigator on and off for about 12 years and I was a dedicated investigator, and I was trying to make a difference in my community.

I started paying attention to politics more in 2016, but I’ve been a disability activist for many years before that. I started to realize that the system we live in needs progressive change to help the average community member and we need people who are ready, willing, and able to learn and fight for policies that will benefit as many people as possible and that’s what I’m here to do.
